T140 progress and thoughts...

Finally got my original back. Now I have to finely running T140D. Went to pick it up, original coil blew. Replaced. Went for a test ride, one 35 year old Progressive shock seized. Luckily my mechanic had some new piggy back shocks that he just gave me and they arent bad. Had a nice ride home along the beach in 38 F weather. Cold but rewarding. My first love is back. Owned since new.

Yup. Purchased January 1980. I beat the crap out of it. Its a little ugly, but since I have a restored D, I wanted to keep the memories. Faded paint, some chips on the frame. Its running good.......until my original Lucas Rita ignition goes. 41 years......anybody want to start a death pool?
