I am converting to needle bearings in my swingarm. Can't figure out the O-rings, thrust washer, dust cover bits.

What have I got wrong, besides everything? :D Never seen one apart before. Excuse my ignorance.

Swingarm Needle Bearing Conversion

Assemble as follows:

4 Place the dust cover over the bush as in Fig. F10 and press the bush in fully.

5 Place the large 'O' ring in the dust plate.

6 Repeat for the second dust cover, bush and 'O ring.

7 Place the smaller 'O' rings in the bush recess of the swinging arm.

That diagram doesn't show the needle roller bearings, so use with caution.

I've got a stray swingarm with just the needle rollers (other bits weren't with it) so am curious to see whats required, and how it all pans out.

Who supplies the needle roller bearing conversions ?

Who supplies these and what's the pro's & con's.

See above.

Smoother, less prone to wear. Put two more guides in your cradle as shown in many other posts to make sure the spindle can't bend.

Are they less prone to damage from shock loads over bushes? Also I had some on a KTM that were seized solid as a previous owner could well have used a jet wash to clean the bike. Not something we would do to a Norton I'm sure but. ...

Been all over Matt's site and cant find the conversion kit listed. :(
