In Australia, we have two fundamental values -'the fair go'  and 'collectivism'.  The first is about not getting right up other people.  The second is that nobody gets left behind. It is simple mathematics. - One plus one equals three.  A team is always more effective than an individual.

When the allied soldiers were prisoners of the Japanese in Changi during WW2, there were 3 distinct groups. The Br4istish maintained their class system.  The Yanks were all individuals.  The Australians had their support groups up and running.  It is a survival strategy.  Australian soldiers also act that way in battle. The non-commissioned officers lead a team. Individualiam is for idiots and Ayn Rand should know better.  As far as the economy is concerned, we probably need entrepreneurs, but most are s imply scam merchants dressed up to look nice.

The ideology of 'a fair go' and 'collectivism'  is NOT class envy.
