States' Rights? Trump to Ban California from Making Its Own Laws

me cum to this forum to escape polly ticks but fell in its ass crack anyhow last visit to this corn-tentious thread bye bye

I rode a little today.... I was in the left and right lane both off and on, so don't know if I'm conservative or liberal.... always thought was conservation, but that left lane....Well?

:) You just paraphrased my argument most eloquently.“

Not really, and you know it

This ^^^ was my point. You hate Trump, and in this case post a bunch of anti trump crap regularly in the pub. IMO, posting links to anti trump articles and opinions isn't like discussing an issue in the forum. It's more like posting links that confirm your opinions without defending them. Pick a policy and criticize it. Tell us why it's "fucked up" or wrong, or immoral. The above statement is an "I don't like him" statement and seems to be the basis of most of you anti-trumpers.

It doesn't matter that you don't like Trump, or someone doesn't like Obama, or hillary, or whoever,.. It matters if you can show they are doing the wrong or right thing.

You have failed to answer my question again, so I will repeat it. . . . again;

Where on this subject and this thread on this particular page (and I am NOT talking about the whole website) have I been anti- Trump?

Nobody is backing you up because the evidence is not there. the only reason I question someone like Trump is because he is walking around blind to the ice caps melting which we all know is man made, and people like you voted him in!

This thread you just started isn't about greenhouse gas standards, it's about Trump...

*********

So just come out with it. Do you, or don't you hate Trump? and why? I'm dieing to hear your explanations, and the proof you cite for them. Let's go smart guy... You post most of this anti-Trump nonsense.
.

You mean like you didn't answer my question (quoted above) on the very first response on page 1 ?

The crazy thing about arguing with you trump haters is how focused you are on Trump being so much more evil than everyone else. That's the premise you start with and you construct your point of view around it.

Here's what you said on another thread, and it's a good indication of how you feel about Trump...

trump hating bernhard said:
That might be your opinion, but mine is this what have Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, Pol Pot got in common with Donald Trump :?:
All of the people before Trump tried to kill or remove other religions of people in their country-before coming to an untimely end of one type or another…….

The american people elected Trump instead of Hillary. If only they had listened to You...

Edited to add: Where on this thread did you talk about what you claim to be the subject of the thread? states rights? or even HCO emissions ? You don't have to admit that you post anti-trump stuff because you hate the guy. It's obvious, so it wouldn't matter if anything he may do works out well because you've decided that he's "hitler", "Idi Amin", and "Pol Pot" all in one person...

So just replaced a virtually new Pod R/R , fired bike ,clamp on meter now say no/intermittent current on one of the 2 stator leads .... dig into stator (sparx) and both lead insulations are cracked one worse than other ... now got to do some mining and get new leads attached , do you think heat shrinked 16G wire good to 150C will work for me .... and yup the old R/R tested faulty ....

Probably excessive ozone in the atmosphere due to climate change caused the lead insulations to crack. Just an opinion.

Yeeehawww!!! Another one of my favorite threads, and going strong a whole week!
How'd I miss it!

Let me jump right in with some of my own hot air.

Disliking Trump doesn't mean you love Democrats.

You ARE allowed to dislike Trump on moral grounds. I object to having a morally corrupt person represent our country. (You should too)

It is OK to criticise the president, it doesn't make you an unhinged rabid Hillary lover...

Oh, AND dude definitely wants to bang his daughter ;)

"Yeah, she's really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father... ,"

Ha ha Pete, Absolutely if you want to say you don't like a person and back it up with ideas and facts, that's a respectable. As I said, posting these Trump topics with a link to an anti Trump article (or website like huff post) isn't a discussion, nor does it expose the poster to any scrutiny of his own words, facts, or philosophy. He spreads the allegations someone else makes and has immunity from the dilligence required to actually make serious accusations...

That's why much of the shit about Trump always starts out as "unverified sources say..." It gets a narrative started. Maybe later, some bias news source has to come up with a verification, but maybe these stories help to get a fishing expedition started (Mueller probe) before their fake data is exposed.

It's obvious to me which side of the aisle the corruption in the american government is on... Needless to say, I do a lot of reading and could go on (and have) quite a bit...

WTBS, we need some better pictures of your bike, and I wonder how did your first summer riding it go?

I reserve my right as a free Canadian of voting age to dislike and slag anyone I choose to, period .... I need no ones permission for this behaviour , especially some “bot” on my fave motorcycle forum , hope everyone has a great wknd ! .... also I do not use diet anything and it been almost 18 yrs now as non-enjoyer of any booze products ...

Gentlemen, I do not believe I have ever seen a heated internet thread debate about politics result in someone, anyone, saying “yeah, good argument, actually you’re right, you’ve made me realise I’ve been wrong all my life”. Just doesn’t happen. Ever.

Which means, that such ‘discussions’ reach a point whereby both sides have said their piece, no new information is being offered, and basically all that is left to be done is to ‘agree to disagree’.

I would respectfully suggest that this thread has reached that point.

Yes ,agreed .... however after reading what has been said .... brings to mind couple great ones from “grade school yard” .... 1. “you not the boss of me” 2. my all time fave “I’m rubber you’re glue anything you say bounces off me and sticks to you” ..... thought these both should be put out there as very relavent to current discussion ...

I like #2. Hadn't heard that one before.... We grew up somewhat sheltered here. The girls taught us the naughty words and more.

We have a trade war between America and China and Brexit between the UK and the EU. And in both cases the major personality involved is similar. It must mean something.

Perhaps Nigel, No doubt people have their beliefs and stand by them. Many show how unfounded their beliefs are by making statements and then aren't able to back them up with anything except "That's how I feel!". If someone here makes a good point that I believe is true I don't contend that truth out of an allegence to some ideology. Idea wise, I am all over the map. You would never know that from my posts here because discussing topics with people who are hyperbolic in their belief that someone is as bad as "Hitler", certainly frames me as a hard line conservative by comparison.

I have friends who are very liberal and we discuss politics and usually agree that policies are rarely good for everyone. Usually there's a person who benefits and another person who bares the expense. It's easy to see how those 2 sides rarely see things the same way, but we don't call each other names and we don't inject hyperbolic arguments as a wildcard when we disagree.

Personally, I'm not heated argueing about trump at all. If you hate someone, you loose all your objectivity. It makes it impossible to judge when they are right and wrong. The only people worthy of hate are those who resort to violence. I'm a big MLK fan. He had the right tone to win arguments. He showed up to demonstrate in his best clothes, spoke eloquently about ideas, and bore the rath of those who oppose his ideas which eventually was a disgrace to them.

The anti trump politicians are always citing "hitler", as if they are stopping the next hitler by attacking trump. More likely they are Demigogs who don't want trump to break the custom of electing the career politicians who do more to create a power position for themselves to reap the benefits of that influence than they do anything to promote fair legislation that doesn't have a "victim" class and larger voting block of beneficiaries...

OK, I'm done... *bows

We are all yelling into the ether. It's fun.
I don't expect to change minds but it's fun to talk and hear another opinion. You should hear how I talk at work.

Just men bullshitting. Nothing new. Just sounding off.
