Well I'm having an issue with my 2019 650 Interceptor. I was out for a ride on Christmas eve and stopped to pick something from the store. Came out and it would not start. The solenoid just clicked. Well it has been cold here so maybe the battery gave up. When I got it home it started, what the heck? A few minutes later it wouldn't start. Pulled the battery and put it on the charger even though it showed 90% charge. Fifteen minutes later the charger show a full charge. Once I re-installed the battery, nothing.
I do have a call into the dealer but they are taking a long Christmas break and only got their voice mail. Anyone else having issues with their Enfields?

Earlier this year I got my modern Triumph (sorry - best non Norton) out to go for a ride. Turned the key all the lights lit up. When I pushed the start
button it turned over and nearly started. Then decided to check the petrol, it was a bit low, so I filled it up from the can in my garage. Went
in the house put on my riding gear, got on the bike, turned the key....nothing. Not even a flicker of the ignition light. Got off, took gear off
checked battery with meter, it showed 12.4V. Decided to charge it anyway, when to Sainsbury's etc. Rechecked the battery a few hours later.
Just off charge it showed 13.2V. Turned key.....nothing. As before not even a flicker. Looked at stuff on Triumph web sites which recomended
taking tank of, slitting open the wiring loom to find broken wire to ignition switch and splicing in a repair . I took the battery out in readiness.
Next morning, got up early, had a large whiskey for breakfast, went out to garage. In order to do the surgery to loom I moved a few bits littering
the floor, one being an old, but similar, battery from my son's Triumph. It gave 10.4V on the meter. Decided to jump it to my bikes loom.
BINGO everything lit up like Christmas.
Bought a new battery - SORTED:)
Still find it difficult to believe a battery reading 12.4V and 13.2V on a meter gave totally nothing.

Got my Enfield into the dealer on Monday. As I'm talking to the owner he tells me he will have to call in a tech because of coved he had to lay them off! That isn't a good sign.
I'm also a bit worried because my warranty is for 18 months and I'm just passed that now. I will let you all know what they find, if and when.

Got word back from my dealer, it's a relay issue. There is even a video posted out of India showing which accessory relays you can move to get it to run. Another Enfield rider posted a link to Panasonic relays for under $5.00. I'm going to buy some extras, just in case.
This one is being replaced under warranty, but the dealer is waiting to get one from the warehouse in Dallas, the dealer is in Ft. Worth. They say it might take a week.

I ordered my new Panasonic relays on Thursday and got them Friday, damn that was quick. It turns out that the electronic supply house is about 60 miles away. I got 4 to replace all of the factory ones and with shipping they were about $7 each.
Called the dealer and they are still waiting for the "factory" relays even though the Enfield warehouse is in Dallas. They said that the warehouse hadn't even acknowledged the order and not to expect it till this coming Friday!
I have gotten orders from RGM faster!

Well it has been interesting. Got my bike back about a month ago, they replaced the starter solenoid and she started right up. Rode it around for a few days and then it wouldn't start. This time in my garage which is a lot better than on the road. I called the dealer and they called Enfield. There tech said to replace the battery, it was less than 18 months old. Took the battery out and over to Batteries Plus. Fully charged but no cold cranking amps. Replaced the battery and so far no more issues.
Lesson learned.
