"A sprag clutch is a one-way freewheel clutch. It resembles a roller bearing but, instead of cylindrical rollers, non-revolving asymmetric figure-eight shaped sprags, or other elements allowing single direction rotation, are used."
The sprags you see that look like a bearing are because the assembly includes the inner and outer race.
The bare sprag assembly uses instead the norton components as the "griped" surfaces.
One of the issues that I perceive is the norton inner and outer gripped races are outside of the design spec for that series sprag.
Sprags are a very ordinary industrial machinery component.
I had not studied if the 14/18 choice has a difference of torque spec, but I doubt the race diameters are different.
I've seen many drive gear and engine sprocket sets. Some looked like braand new and some were VERY beat up and horribly dimpled.
There should be plenty available from industrial bearing suppliers. You may not like the price
