Hi Richard,prewar the ES2 had the cradle frame as you have, the model 18 had the same diamond frame as the 16H.The 4 stamp on the cases suggests ES2. I'm not sure when the tombstone gearbox came in but I wonder whether the engine and gearbox are post war?No less desirable a project if the engine etc are later.Oops, sorry Gene/Richard mixing up who is who there.
