Yesterday. Not a huge turnout but nice group, great donuts at the start point and despite rains the road was clean. Good food at "Baldy Village."

Re-built my oil pump to make the ride. Almost non-existent pressure at the head before hand. Surfacing job worked as upon completion, I had to remove a shim from the oil pressure relief valve to get to 10 lbs/1000 rpm

For you So Cal guys, there's some great rides coming up . . . check out the two bike/car museums we will visit in January and February.

Any photos?

I don't think I can make the Run for the Roses, but I'll probably drop in to the January bash at Daniel Shoenwald's place. If you get to it, check out his yellow Commando Production Racer. It's the one I raced for many a year, later restored by a friend of mine and sold to Daniel. He has a great collection of cool bikes.

I also plan to connect up with the February ride to Ojai. The starting point is only 6 or 7 miles from my place, and the route from there to Ojai over Hwy 150 is a great ride.
