Recently had the need to drain sump after my 850 wet sumped in ten days to point of fully exposing the oil screen in the tank.
Found this on the magnetic drain plug:
Looks to be remains of some sort of washer, maybe a shim. My calipers show it to be 0.114" wide and about 0.023" thick.
Reviewing the parts diagrams for crankcase and pistons, only thing that might match is the crank endfloat shim. AN lists that as 0.003" thick? And this bit's radius does not look like its from a large diameter item.
Thoughts?
