Sensors TRIAL

Sorry Richard I am confused. Cam sensor front of engine, temp sensor back of block. Why are we talking about the starter removal manual?
Skiddy

I'm in Scotland, and also on the trail of the sensors for my 2016 model MKII Sport. I contacted www.eurocarparts.com to enquire about the availability of the previous mentioned sensors in this post. The reply I received was as follows :-

Bosch Cam & Speed Sensor- http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/419220120
Bosch Head Temp Sensor- http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/224110077

Unfortunately the part numbers appear to be different form the one's listed in this post, and appear to be more expensive. I have asked if they are replacement part numbers, but have had no response. The eurocarparts website is geared towards searching for parts using registration number or car model, which is no much help.

Hopefully this does not confuse matters even further.....

They are using the wrong website. The website I listed is Eeuroparts.com
Go to the link I posted earlier and launch it there. !

I guess he's looking for somewhere in the UK and EuroCarParts is a major UK motor factors chain. They sell genuine Bosch parts (according to Bosch UK) and are usually price competitive (if you wait for one of their frequent 33% off days). It can be a pain tracking down a part if you don't have a vehicle registration number, and they couldn't supply the Bosch coil for the Norton when I asked them.

The numbers in his URLs are the EuroCarParts IDs and aren't Bosch part numbers. The temp sensor in the link has the Bosch part number on it, but it's different to the one that Richard specified.

Bosch part numbers can be checked on https://www.bosch-automotive-catalog.co ... uct-search

patchy-man - if EuroCarParts can't supply from the part numbers you could ask Bosch UK for their authorised dealers in your area (I found them helpful when I mentioned I was looking to avoid fake product). I used Andrew Page for the coil. Alternatively you could use the US site.

Got mine today from my local European auto mechanic. $227 including tax  , but worth the piece of mind.

Yes , I would say it is. Looking at where his connector comes from. Hello Aldub , Do you live and ride near the ocean ? Lots of salt moisture in the air ? Clean then grease the connection before assembly .

I better check mine. 80% of my riding is along salt water.

Dose anyone know the bosh number for the Throttle Position Sensor.

Thanks Richard will do.

In Richards amazing manuals go to Throttle Control it explains it far better than I.
Left side opposite where throttle cables attach.

I pulled the plug and ordered the 2 sensors from AutohausAZ. Same price as Eeuroparts.com. 85.00 for both. I'll let you all know the results. Free shipping.

Got my two crank and temp sensors from AutohausAZ. Both in BOSCH packaging. Crank made in Germany. Temp made in India. The temp sensor is a bluish grey color.
