Has any one here bought and used a humped seat from Texavina before? What I'm really looking for is the the "long" humped seat that Old Britts used to sell. Can't seem to find one so I was curious about the Texavina one, (I know its not the same)

The seat is quite firm and smooth, so you will slide back at 60+ mph (the hump is too far back to help in this regard). Of course, this is an issue with any bike without any wind protection. It works, however, and is one of the best looking aftermarket seats IMHO. I'd really like to find an exact 750 MkIV Roadster replica with the 16 pleats and strap, but I have searched high and low and they seem nowhere to be found.

I haven't had a Texavina seat on my Norton but I installed a couple on some BMW airheads. They're good seats, the foam is a little hard for my boney ass.

I tried one, but was extremely un-comfortable for me compared to standard seat. I do have a bad back though anyway. It would probably be ok if you do short rides only.

Is the seat uncomfortable because it is too hard or because it is too thick or thin or whatever?
