Seat cover ideas needed

Same happened to me last week, seat only taken off maybe 3 times, off to check the fuses and found a clip in the air filter. Great backup from Norton though and new seat out next day. Have to say, was a bugger to fit, trouble lining up the bolts, took best part of an hour.

It was probably just a batch thing on some of the 2018 models

Thanks for the info', good to know that Norton are replacing these under warranty.
My spire clip with broken support had dropped in to the air filter too, I'll allow some time for playing with the bolts. Don't mind fiddling to get them lined up if they're stronger than the originals.

Hi,
Finally the two seater to single seater conversion is done. The last item, new seat was made last week at silver machine in Amsterdam. They did a great job. Only have to cut off the passenger foot peg mounts.

I think this only a problem with the newer seat bases . If you look and your bike is old enough it will have the steel brackets riveted into the seat base. And did someone say Norton has re-designed the new seat base and made it more durable ?

Just buy the A frames instead of cutting the pegs off. Incase you ever wanna go back to two up.
Their not that expensive.

I"ve always wanted black suede with gold Norton logo stitched into it. However, its never been a reliable bike enough to justify eye candy.
