saved it from a highside anyway

No way I'd want to take anything away from this guy..... But I reckon our man Yves would have got his matches out somehow :)

There was some major pucker taking place right there..... You have to admit he saved more than the day.

Ok, I'm new to road bikes (2 years). I have no intention of racing but for the sake of learning, what went wrong there?

Just a great display of his athletic abilities ! Wow ..... not sure you learn that type of thing more like born with the gift ...

Fruit -of the -Loom and Under Armor are looking for this guy to do an under wear commercial, I know I would have needed a change!!!

Talk about fast thinking and keeping his cool and still make it over the line, he prob. not have time to even fill his undies, keeping his hand on the throttle controlling the power to keep the bike up right and slowing it down to just jump back on the bike, that have to be the save of the year, he might not have won the race but he has won the fans that's for sure.

Obviously the recovery / save was remarkable. Im interested in what went wrong in the first place.

Looks like he lost traction on the rear tire and it went wide before grabbing again. Maybe the tire was spent, track issues...

Well it sure was spectacular, and he did a hell of a job. He never gave up/ let go / or tried to bail. Something my Dad instilled in my brother and I when we were first starting out riding at a young age is that you never stop riding it. That said, it might have flung me off, but that guy did a great job of seeing it through.

Meh. New underwear is $6 for a pack of six. Motorbikes.... far more$$$
Guy did a good job
