Roadholder Fork Diameter

Reading through various road tests in the "Commando Ultimate Portolio" book, not one mentions the diameter of the forl stantions to compare with today's spec - ie how would they compare in specification and performance to the new Triumph Bonneville.

Anyone know the dimensions and any Bonneville owner care to compare against the Roadholders? Thanks.

I am going to guess that the late Triumph will have larger fork legs to carry the extra weight and performance. With todays technology, they are going to have instant adjustability also.

The Triumph of old though who knows?
