I still think his best role was that of Christian Slater's father in "True Romance". The scene with him and Christopher Walken playing the mafioso after Slater's character's hide was classic.

I just watched that clip yesterday on youtube. Best scene in the movie.

I just watched that clip yesterday on youtube. Best scene in the movie.

I just happened to be watching the "car wash" clip from "Cool Hand Luke" the other day (heh, heh) and realized Hopper had a bit part in that classic flick.
