RGM's Own 6v Dual Output Coil Location

Hi All,

Have purchased the above and wondering if/where anyone has installed this. Near the old location for the coils is my thoughts but it will require some bracketry to make up the heat sink side.

Using the heatsink bracket that RGM also supply, I mounted mine under the existing coil bracket using the existing threaded holes. I'm at the summerhouse now so I don't have any photos, but it should be fairly obvious if you look at the bits.

In my case I wanted to make access to the tank studs easier, so this was a natural place to choose.

Gday all,

Tried installing this on the weekend and i get a good spark on one side of the coil but not the other. Have tried swapping plugs, leads and testing earth connections. Is there anything else i should be checking. I get a good strobe signal on one side and none on the other. Also misfires on the bad side. Have asked RGM for a diagnosis but wanted to check here as well.
