I agree that pouring oil into the forks is a bit fiddly but it isn't hard and doesn't take that long. I have never used any "tricks" to do it, just a small measuring cup. If you put the spout touching a spring coil and pour carefully, the oil will follow down the coils without any difficulty. Of course, how long it takes to pour the oil in depends on the viscosity of the oil being used.
I did the Fauth fork mod some years ago and use ATF (per his recommendation) in the forks which works great with that mod. It doesn't take more than a minute or two to pour 150ccs of ATF into a fork. I'll admit that if you are running 20w50 in the forks, that pour will take a lot longer!
