I can think of a few more reasons to move your battery to the new location :1. Keep the weight down lower on the machine .2. No more worries about touching off a big arc blast under your alloy gas tank.3. A good use of open space , I thought about putting a oil tank reservoir there for extra capacity especially for those with the long steep descents that are starving the oil supply.
