Is the rear wheel spindle on a drum brake commando 9/16 X 20 bscy (corse) where it screws into the stub axle? Cheers

No, it's 18 tpi UNF.

Ok cheers,I'm waiting for parts to arrive I have been sent a dommi/atlas spindle by the looks of it, I'm still waiting for a cush drive sprocket/stub axle to turn up so was unable to check properly
I assume that all cush drive commando stub axles use UNF threads then? Cheers

Yes, the earlier Commando bolt-up hubs also had the same (060289) spindle according to the parts list.

Do bear in mind that although the threads are both UNF, the dummy axle is different between early Commando bolt up hub and later Commando cush hub.
