Pardon me for posting these photos randomly. I just figured out how and am practicing. Thank you in advance for your patience.

One should NEVER apologise for posting pictures of Nortons!

You obviously really like it (from the other thread), can you briefly tell how long you've had it, what mileage it's done and what issues you've had?

Fast Eddie. Its a 2013 Sport. Proudly from the first boat load of 10 to the US. First season, leaking starter gasket and gearbox issue. Both fixed under warranty, gearbox swapped for upgraded model. So my first season was a wash. Only 1k mi. Last season I put 3500 miles on it trouble free except for a known oil leak btw the crank case halves. Still, I had a great season and gave it back to them in the winter for repair. No loss, more room in the garage. I just got it back and its bone dry, never had the "saturated air filter" problem The bike has been running like a champ. Just did 100 miles. Loving it.

Sounds great sir. Enjoy!

Hey Curtis,

Nice shots.
Norton and GC came through for ya.
Awesome!
Now that you know how to post photos, let's see some closeups of the effected area of the motor.

:D

I will. My cell phone is unreliable, so I'll have to break out the camera, download to photos and send. Give me a day or two. Retired or not, I've been a little busy. Nice day on the water today. Ooops.....wrong toy. I just sprang for a new boat engine. Had to check that out. Ran great.

These engines look familiar

It's from a booklet sent out to every UK household urging them to vote to stay in the EU in the forthcoming referendum. I can sit on the political fence as I don't get a vote as I live elsewhere.

There are parts of Nortons that are subcontracted to EU companies. So what? The bikes are built and assembled in the UK. Better than the whole bike built in Asia.

Yea.....well the Yamaha engine cost a little more (24k) than my Norton did. Bikes are so cheap to own by comparison. B reak O ut A nother T en grand.
