R.I.P. Diana Rigg

Such a shame about this lady who died from the big C. She was the only one who became Mrs James Bond. (To actor George Lazenby, making a one off appearance) may she RIP.

Yes, no doubt SS is in full mourning at this time and I would like to pass on my sincere condolences , D. Rigg was a true honest sex symbol of that era hope SS spends some of the excess energy created by her passing on his Norton named Peel .... would be timely

I cried at the end when they shot up the Aston Martin :-(

I loved the Avengers - I believe it may have been the first Britcrime show to be aired on this side of the pond. As a lad I was alternately drawn to Mrs Peel then her Lotus Elan .. RIP

And what did we get in return? 'I Love Lucy' and 'The Dick Van Dyke Show'.... Hardly a fair exchange, no?

Aaaahhhh! I was thinking of that 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible, almost , I said, almost as desirable as the AM, soz for the mistake - but why was the windscreen not bulletproof as I thought it was in Goldfinger?

Was the DB5 glass bullet proof? Wouldn't that make that natty little shield that popped up ahead of the boot lid redundant? Or was that in place to teach our Jim not to be so reliant on his interior mirror? (Perhaps he was cramming for an HGV test?)
Just as well George's DBS didn't have the Martin Baker trim option (wired by Joe Lucas!!).. That could've got the honeymoon off to a flying start :)

Do you blokes remember what the original post was?
Not terribly respectful.

Apologies if I have offended your sensibilities... No disrespect intended towards the lady, but life does go on...
(Sadly my hair shirt is at the cleaners)

No - you haven't offended me at all.
I just think that a post in fond remembrance should be just that.
Think no more of it!

A pretty girl. I think I kissed the TV screen a couple times back then.
