Just read an Old Britts tech article "Cam Bushing Information" https://www.oldbritts.com/cam_bush.html which identifies the various cam bushing variants and their applications. In there it states that 06-2600 bushing, which is for 72&73 750s, is the only bushing that has oil channels and is to be used with cams that do not have any oil scrolling on the journals.

Can I assume that they also can be used with cams that do have scrolled journals?

I hope so because the cams available from AN are scrolled.

If your engine has the 06-2600 bush then it would be better to replace it and not use the 06-2601 thrust washer.

Thanks LAB. Very relevant thread. I wonder why it didn't come up when I searched this subject.

If I understand correctly, your concern is not having scrolling on both the cam and bushing, but rather the issue Dynodave pointed out about bronze bushings with tabs removed spinning against the case?
