What is the proper fuse? Factory wiring and charging. I have a 30 amp US in there now as that is what it had in it. Specs show 35 amp, 17 1/2 continuous rated?
I dont need any meltdowns.

35A blow = 17.5A continuous.
Proper fuse

The Lucas wires are rated at 8 amps. With all lights on, engine running, and horn button pushed, you might be drawing (guesstimate) at total of 15 amps. So a 20 amp fuse suits me. Most things that blow a fuse are quick shorts which the wire can take. If something is causing a higher draw (partial short), the wire will melt before a 30amp for sure and probably before a 20 amp.

All that said, the rider's manual says 35 amp.

Where would I find something like that? US here An alternate?

Any good British bike parts supplier should keep them in stock.
Or change to continuous (blade?) fuses. 15A or 20A are the nearest equivalents, easier to buy and probably cheaper in the US.

Blow and continuous are the 2 types, modern fuses in UK and US are rated continuous. Blow is double the A of continuous.
