Well I don’t read all the gossip mags, but I do like Megan, if I’m misguided so be it she’s a babe.

I think in the long run his serious failures have made the rest of the family look better and better. William seems like the absolute
picture of maturity and wisdom compared to him. Rumour that William and his father have run out of patience with that pair may or may not be true but if it is nobody will fault them for it.
I just wish she would dry up and blow away and take him with her. At this point it isnt all her fault...he owns the mess now too.

I honestly don't think she would be with him if he wasn't a royal
I don't particularly watch the news I'm not a royal family watcher but this stuff seems to creep in
And when I see them together all I can think is there is no way on earth that that woman would be with that man if he were just a bloke in the street
No chance at all

If one wanted to be callous, let's not overlook the fact that both William and Harry were produced by demand for what has since been shown to be the world's most overlooked 'arranged' marriage. Like Bowie's 'Laughing Gnome' it's the elephant in the room many conveniently overlook. The fact that Charles followed protocol rather than having the nuts to follow his heart says a lot about him, IMHO...
BUT: To be fair, I expect 99.9% of what's out there is driven by media speculation, and we cherry pick which suits our own point of view.. Though of course they matter not one iota..

A lot of things have changed in the world since Charles and Di went down the aisle. He did what he was brought up to do and I guess was the last one who followed the old rules. Time passes quickly and the current norm is far from what it was when I was a lad. Just sayin'...

Haircuts... for a start :)

I hope Charles has the decency to pass over the chance to become king and allows William. I feel sure that public opinion won’t like him otherwise especially with that woman by his side.

Part of me wonders if the Queen is hoping to see if she can outlive Charlie ;)

Queen Victoria was less than thrilled with her son. He served nine years as king. Charles is the heir, let him serve his short reign and then back to a sovereign who will be there for a long while. Abdication is not a good look.

Yet Edward turned out to be a damn good monarch - did some really good work to get the entente cordiale up and running, which was vital during the First Big Mistake, effectively isolating the Kaiser.

I don't think Charles is a fool, and he has had a lifetime to train for the job.

thread drift, but.... I saw a thing somewhere recently that mentioned Keith Emerson's Commando going for auction soon. Looked like a nice bike, an 850 with an electric start conversion.
I put a link to that in the 'For Sale' section.

A babe she is.

I thought she did an excellent job of holding the briefcase on "Deal of No Deal".
But she really impressed with her secondary cable show work pretending to be a lawyer of some sort in a soap opera level show titled "Suits".
And then her charity appeal for women worldwide who were affected by the Wuhan virus...while wearing about 4 million bucks worth of jewelry and high end fashion stuff.
My daughter in law, she being a "Royal" follower, provided me this info when I was explaining this thread being on a motorcycle forum...men grovel and squawk about this stuff too.

She (DIL) is of the opinion Harry was thinking with the wrong head when he got hitched.

All this stuff about the Royals might be designed to make them look more normal in a world where wealth inequality is rampant. Global debt is at an all time high and there might be a nasty form of resolution to be coped with.
