I don't feel sorry for him, he's an ex serviceman with wife and kids ffs!!
But I do sympathise with his position, he'll never be in control of anyone outside his personal bubble, and will be under the microscope 'til they put him in his box.
But... getting back to FE's main thrust here... IF Harry had stuck to the mental health issues re: ex servicemen (or orphaned children.. he did lose his Mother at 13, remember) I'd gladly buy in. My nephew did three tours of active duty and his mother has suffered big time watching the changes in him. But when William et al start the same speil with a bunch of professional footballers, THAT sticks in my craw.... I AM a miserable old git, but it does seem this whole 'mental health' bandwagon is an excuse by many to defer/deflect personal responsibility.

Errrr it’s the British Royal Family... (or now British / American Royal Family), thats the primary reason. And it’s kinda in the news a bit.

I guess we’re similarly guilty of the gazillions of pages spent on Trump when it was fashionable !

Trouble is, these people are perceived as ambassadors and representatives given how firmly entrenched the family is in UK history..
Same goes for any elected head of state, whether he got your vote or not.
So sometimes feel the need to point out that the man in the street isn't always 100% behind this lot (or any of them)
Without getting too political, I prefer conservative to current labour, but find Boris Johnson a cringeworthy embarrassment....
But yes, our opinions matter not, and the vitriol can appear a bit disproportionate..

While I’m proudly Canadian born I prolly do look south for some enlightenment , however my core values with little doubt came from the UK and still do …. the Royals can be the best and worst reps. of the UK at various times , like most of us humans can be …..

Harry was the spare heir. Now he is WAY down on the standby list so his Reason for Being is gone. Problem is he is full of sh_t because if he wanted privacy he could have had it . If he wanted to do charity work he could have had all he wanted. But the facts in the case argue that he wants a spotlight and now the one he got is the hard cold light of reality: you are a crybaby and your wife is a sharp elbowed harridan. Sympathy for the poor little rich boy left town some time ago.

If ‘the gold fish bowl’ was his issue... why does he insist on grabbing any and all public limelight that he can?

He‘s turning his own life into an up market Jeremy Kyle show.

If he just got on with championing his chosen causes, and spared us all his self pitying family soap opera, he‘d have us all behind him !

His significant other and her agent are running the show Eddie.

To be blunt, a shoeshine guy once told me at JFK "Pussy is the most powerful drug of all".

That question invokes the reply why do you care about those commenting on the royal family?
This is not strange at all. Same gossip one would find on any of the social media sites that abound.

And just in case I come across as some kind of sycophant, I'd like to put on record I think his brother's a twat, his grandfather was a twat, his father is the biggest twat of the lot, though his uncle gets full points on the twat meter too.
But of course, like you lot, I've never met any of them, so perfectly positioned to pass judgement :)

I live in small town NS , learned at a very young age bout the un-truth of the sticks and stones thing , try and keep the name calling in the school yard as once outside it , you would have to defend your opinion ….

Oh come on. That was at the Halloween Party. I remember Harry attended as a Nazi....no? Oh dear...
Yes, as I have mentioned in the past, Charles has some odd notions to put it mildly. But he has done well in
other areas like helping young people get started in life and I tip my hat at his comments on modern architecture.

Like every family anywhere, you sometimes find that they have weird notions of behaviour that they should have supplied a child psychologist while they sat on the potty . . . ..
