I did that, and see a number of claims that all current triplex chains are of poor quality. But, there's no supporting evidence. No one has cited design deficiencies, low-quality material specification, or actual experience of early failure with any of the available triplex chains (KCM, Regina, Renold, CZ). So, without doubting that the IWIS duplex is a good solution, I'm skeptical about the idea that it's the only sensible alternative.
