Hi People

I have secured a Power Commander V ( to suit a BMW 800 as per previous posts).

I have to wire the PC V into the throttle position sensor and note the wire colours have changed since this subject was previously posted in 2017.

The wires on my 2015 TPS plug are; blue, green and pink/red.
The wires on the PC V are brown, grey and black/white.

Does anyone know the correct combination or how I may be able to find out?

Regards
Dan

On the PC ask them or download the installation instructions which should detail the 3 wire colours.

The 3 wires will be Ground, 5V feed and variable output.

Get the makers part number for the TPS and search for the details or look at the Norton wiring diagrams or

Thank you. I am using a BMW PC as they do not make one for the Norton, hence the wires and plugs don't quite match.

If PC don't give their wiring colours then get the BMW 800 colours. With wiring up an ECU using parts from different bikes its common to use a digital multimeter plus tracking down the technical specs for each component.

The first link I get when Googling 'bmw 800 tps wire colours'

I bought my PCV from BSD in UK . They advertised putting Dyno Jet PCV on a 961 and they helped me with the wiring . So , this is why I bought my PCV from BSD in the UK . I could have spent far less just buying the PCV here in the USA .
But long story short , the grey wire is the TPS wiper (throttle signal) and the black/white is the TPS earth. Only these two wires need to go to the TPS .

The third wire (brown) should have a ring connector on it and this will go to the negative (-) post of the battery . the remainig connectors are for fuel injectors feed through . one for left and other for right cylinder . The instructions for left and right injectors color wires match the Dynojet instuctions for BMW F800 . This you can find on DynoJet website.
