For anyone looking for a rear stand for the 961 I wanted to let you know the Pit Bull Forward Handle Rear Stand (spooled type) works perfectly on my 2015 961 Sport. Had some problems getting anyone to confirm it would fit but mine arrived today and its easy for one person to get the rear wheel off the ground without any help.

Thanks. I got a flat last weekend, and was wondering which paddock stand would work. Telling any service or parts website that you own a 961 is impossible; you might as well tell them you ride a unicorn!

My Pit Bill rear stand will work on my 961, or Ducati 999, The support finger on the stand is bolt-adjustable.
The finger slides in toward the swingarm, then just tighten the adjuster bolt.
The front stand works fine on either the 961 or the Duke, no adjustment needed.

Too bad the bikes were not designed with a centerstand, like my '75 850.

Just noticed this topic and was wondering if anyone could advise which would be best recommended for my 961 SE... the Pit Bull Rear Stand or the Norton Paddock Stand?
Cheers

I ordered and received the Norton paddock stand as a present to myself. Real pleased with it and never any problems with using the stand. Weight, balance, and ease of use are fine. I also have a Pitbull front stand that has the changeable pin that goes into the bottom of the stem under the bottom triple tree. I have to take the horn off the bottom tree to use this stand (could possibly relocate the horn ), but this stand allows for removal of the front wheel and even the fork tubes. It's a handy tool to have and I've bought different pins to fit different bikes. It's real easy to get a garage full of stands, lifts, jacks etc. to try to keep from spilling our toys. Good luck.
