It was just a back door complement of a clean engine profile.  Knowing what I do now I think I could come up with a more efficient and compact turbo-snail blower, which really is a blower and not a compressor.  You might study very closely, even stop motion, that 200 hp wet slip out demo, there is a world of surprising bike physics revealed that can be tapped on purpose in stead of surprise - with a torque curve that rises exponentially.  Impeller and alternator should counter rotate and not stick out to foul leans over 60'.  There's a Drouin post if exploring this more.
