pics of a MK3 Fastback?

Anybody build a MK3 Fastback? Did the tail fit over the frame rails? Pics?

Not me but seem to remember the factory tail piece off my 71 FB did not fit over the 74 850's rear loop due to the different shape of the rear loop.

I built this one 20+ years ago from a MkIII Roadster. The tail section was NOS from the NOC spares scheme. It was in blue metalflake so was likely a '71-'72 part. Fit perfectly. I have a '68 (badge-type) and another non-badge type that both fit a '69 frame, a '73 frame, and a '74 frame I have in the shop. I guess I've just been lucky.

Odd (but not a Mk111)
My 1971 tail still hangs up at the transition from straight section to the angle to the rear loop and forcing it would crack the tail sides for sure.
Fits great on the 71 though... It must be a Friday tail unit.
