Hi Tony, so do I, just starting to get annoyed now, call from Dealer yesterday with a promise to be back in touch Saturday morning at the latest. I know here he still has time but my patience is now wearing thin.I hope the dealer is talking to Norton , because the factory may have more experience dealing with these issues.
Hopefully someone will tell me today!Like with Stephen_Spencer‘s bike (see thread ‚Spoke to Soon!‘) this could be an issue with the sensors (esp. head temp).
Spoke to the Dealer today, he warmed it up, took it out and when back at the workshop it stopped and started all okay. We discussed this around 1230, Dealer wanted to wait until the bike was cold and run it up again. Spoke to him just after 1700 and it has started fine everytime.Wassapnin’ Gary ??
Issue due to relays, not sure whether they were replaced or reconnected. I’ll get a firm answer tomorrow, so happy just to get it back, I know that he wanted to be sure before returning it and not have the fault reoccurring. Didn’t think to get a definitive answer but will do so.That’s sounds good... but...
Can he tell you what was at fault and how he fixed it?
If not, I'd be worried it’s gonna return...
I plan to install short open pipes.Do you plan to install the short open pipes or the long open pea shooters? Provided they make it run again. .......
Hi John, I’ll find out for real tomorrow when it’s delivered. Driver will call me when he’s half hour out, not sure if I’m first or second. He has two and the other to drop is in Salisbury. Is the bike sorted now Gary
