Hi, can anyone please post a photo of the S exhaust system, especially where the front exhaust shields attach to the exhausts via a special clamp, cheers, David

Hi David!
I just attached them also.
Will make some pics this afternoon and post them this evening !
There are those " hooks" at the front rear of the shields.
Fix them with large style hose clamps to the exhaust pipes.

On my SS pipes, I used hose clamps drilled for blind nuts and button-head allens, all in stainless.

Many thanks for posting the photos, I just wondered how the shields were attached at the front, cheers, David

David, here are the pics of the "stock" fixing method of the front heat shields.

Here you see the stainless steel hose clamp which goes over the welded on tab on the front backside of the heat shield.
Fix the clamp at last after the exhaust pipes and mufflers are in the correct position and tightened.

I also used these rubbers for a Austin Mini exhaust to fix the mufflers to the dogleg hanger.
Part No British Leyland GEX7251K
The rubber fixing in the middle is the original part which already broke.

Dannos method is different to this.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to post the pictures, it's time consuming and I appreciate it very much, this forum rocks!!! David
