Performance Ignition Coils

Apologies, just checked my notes and should have said map #0091.

DBono,

Are you certain?
I contacted Carlos at SBN yesterday about this very matter.
He indicated that the #90 map is the correct map for the full SBN exhaust (decat X-Pipe, with Dominator silencers).
The map was developed by Norton, but SBN has found that it works perfectly on their full exhaust system.

Carlos said nothing about a #0091 map.

Regards

I do not have the full South Bay exhaust. I'm running the stock X-pipe with the South Bay DT exhaust.

Carlos told me 0091 for my set up and I believe that it what I'm using. It is definitely one of the maps developed by Norton and apparently found on the disc that the dealers have.

Also, for what it is worth, when removing the old plugs and after 1,000 or so miles with the new map, the plugs indicated a very happy fuel mixture, as opposed to running lean with the stock map. I also dropped from 55-60 mpg to 45-50 mpg.

I see.

When you refer to SBN DT, is this the Dominator Torquer silencer?

Thanks for the info.
I'm trying to piece together all the details around the various SBN exhaust component combinations, and permutations.

My dad just switched to COPPER CORE wires and iridium plugs and said it's noticeably better. More to come......

BritTwit,

I just saw this post from you. Just to be specific, I have on my 2015 SE a pair, from the latest manufactured lot available, of SBN Dominator Sport exhausts, with the SBN X-pipe that eliminates the stock cat x-pipe, and the #90 map. The installation was smooth with their modified slotted brackets and hardware kit provided, and the bike runs and sounds great with this change. Hope that helps with your data collection.

Precisionbob,
Are the brackets for the silencers slotted?
And the new map was definitely #90?

The brackets are very high quality stainless steel and are slotted to allow for the variances found in the hand built frames. There are also a selection of three different length SS mounting bolts with a bunch of SS spacers to allow for setting up clearances. I had no real problems getting a nice fit. Yes, the map is # 90 per Matt and Carlos.
