Hi,
Could anyone help me please. I am replacing my old Peashooters on my MK3 Commando and would like some advice on buying a pair of good quality chrome Peashooters in the UK.
From a reliable seller if that is possible these days.

Regards ELLIS

Peashooters.

Thank you for your replies and suggestions. I have decided to go down the Andover Norton route with some shiny chrome seamless peashooters. Only time will tell if I have made the right decision.

Cheers ELLIS.

Has anyone tried the peashooters from Viking Exhaust? How good are they? They are pricey, but do they give value for the money? Thanks.

Ellis,
I just put on a set from AN with the additional packing about 5 mos.ago and am pleased with the finish and fit.

If you go for the AN, please report back on how loud they are. They say they have made them quieter. My older AN peas
are ear piercingly loud at full chat.

Personally I prefer the stainless steel ones
I don't mind that they are not as shiny as Chrome
I also have a set of stainless pea shooters on my t160
Both sets fit and forget
I never use silencer clamps either so no cracking to worry about

I’ve got a pair of Wassell’s peashooters on mine and they are lovely and loud

I offered up a pair to my T160 but it doesn’t sound very good and they don‘t look as good either, sticking out at an angle.

I have lp Williams downpipes on my t160 and armour's stainless pea shooters they are pretty much parallel
These have an annular discharge baffle instead of the pierced tube
The soundtrack is superb

They look the same as these externally
But mine have baffle plates inside and no wadding as far as I know
I don't use silencer clamps on my commando or trident
There's no issue on either bike
No popping on deceleration etc
No stress on the silencers or downpipes
Thanks!
So how do you order the ones you have?

That's because original T160 black caps have an angle at the inlet then turn parallel to the machine.
