I installed a Pazon PA 2 in my MK3. What are the cautions and procedure for adjusting and syncing carbs

None, it does not feature a idle stabilisation advance curve so will not interfere with idle tuning.

For carb adjustment and syncing use

Thanks for the Bushmans link suggestion I’ll check it out. With the points set up I could pull the plug wire off one cylinder and adjust the one running. I’ve read that with the Boyer the plug on the side not running should be grounded to the head. Is the Pazon the same ?

If I changed my ignition system, I would start tuning my carbs from scratch. It does not matter much what the ignition curve looks like, as long as it does not change after you have tuned the carbs. I run a Boyer with fixed timing. If I ever have to disturb the pick-up rotor, I always carefully check that the jetting is still right. A small change in ignition timing can have a big effect on the required jetting.

There's really no such thing as "jetting" on a stock road bike Commando. Unless something like exhaust or intake gets changed, the carbs don't need to be touched.

No advance on a road bike would be ridiculous. A stock road bike needs to respond to throttle at any speed in any gear. The Commando was designed to do that very well.
