Do the Norton dealers or Norton have the password ? Are you using OMEX softawre , or another tuning program ? I have never read about any password , but I do not have any OMEX experience.

i trid Norton,but the say that the cant gif me the pasword,and the only dealer in the neterlands wil not tel me the pasword..

i use the OMEX software ,when i start the program it asks a pasword,i can ignore that but then i canot see al the parameters and i can not change aniting..

my 961 use's 1 ltr /10 km..and when i drive more then 20 km the bike gets a hikup,,it looks that the tilt sensor is defect and i want to program him out..
on the thread omex ECU Unlocking/remapping i was aspecting the pasword,but i can not find it

If the code above does not work , you can use a resistor to bypass the tilt sensor .
 
I copied this code some time ago. I haven't tried it yet and don't know if it's right.

So de code works fine,but nou i am trying to get de tilt sensor progamd out,i have find te sensor in the program but it is not easy to program him out,,do jou now how to do that??????
 
No , I do not . But if you are troubleshooting and you want to remove the tilt sensor this is possible . The signal back to the unit is a low .5vdc. when working normally .


Look at this thread :

The S pin (middle pin) on the tip over unit should be at .5 vdc ( a half volt) when engine is running and everything OK . if so , this works the same as SC ECU . Tie the S pin and the GND pin with a 5 k ohm resistor .and check with a volt meter . I have been told by SC that the S pin and the GND can be tied directly together . I have not done this instead , I have used a 4.7 K ohm resistor between the S pin and the GND for a perfect pulldown level of .5 VDC . This 4.7K resistor works with the SC Built in 47K ohm for a 1/10 pulldown ratio . You only need one resistor folks and its done !

So sad,,i have driven mijn 961 voor 1600 miles, aand nou is de omex 600 dead,,anywone ??

a new one ore has anyone replace ther one whit a aftermark one???

SC Delta says that their conversion harness should work to convert from OMEX to SC Delta 400 .
 
I'd double check with them on that, as 2010 would have been an sva Omex, before they moved to SC and eventually moving back to a euro 3 omex. Same box, same connector...but Im fairly sure they aint interchangeable. I'm not sure if Ive got a 2010 wiring diagram, I'll check later today.

Yeah, no worries...what year is yours? I think the sva wiring was up to around 2013...but its a guess without checking my manuals (Ive got all my wiring diagrams as hard copies, not electronic).

Ive got three different euro 3 wiring diagrams here, including the one revilO posted, which appears to be a 2015 euro 3. Ive got pre and post 2013 euro3... I'm going to assume pre 2013 to be SC, but I'll have to check properly. Struggling to find sva omex specific. I do have another box of papers to go through though.
