Hi all,

I recently gleaned 4 more serial numbers from the 4 P11's that were being auctioned and have added the relevant information to the Who Owns What section of the database on Norton/Matchless P11/P11A/Ranger. I'd like to see this database growing again, so please add any serial numbers you may know of that have not already been posted. It's not hard and by clicking on the frame column header you can put them in numerical order for easy reference. It's actually a bit too easy and I hope no one inadvertently messes it up.

C-ya, Jer

By the way, all 4 were really well done examples with only very minor deficiencies. Such as wrong frame paint, no shock covers, incorrect cable routing...mostly nit picking stuff. The Ranger 750 at Bonhams failed to meet it's undisclosed reserve and did not sell. The 3 at Mecum all found new homes. The blue P11 selling for $15,950, the candy red P11 for $17,050 and the Ranger 750 went for $8.800. These prices include the buyers premium. All results are easily viewable at both Bonhams and Mecum's web sites.

PS You can see a video clip of one of the P11's under the hammer at this years Mecum auction on the facebook P11 page.

Hi.
Is this the current price for a P11.
I think that in Europe nobody can pay such amount.
Ciao.

I'd say the current price is hard to determine. How badly does a given person want one versus how much money they have to part with. It seems to me that most P11 owners do not want to sell them. Myself included. I was offered 20k for my P11, which i would say is quite a bit more than its worth. This price was partly because the gentleman just watched me win an award for the bike at the edsel ford mansion, beating some very expensive Vincent's.
