There use to be a site that hosted a web version of the Commando Workshop Manual.

http://www.rocbo.net

It's no longer active.

But before they disappears I downloaded all of their files.

If someone has a web server handy I can provide all the HTML and IMG files.

Otherwise I may see if there is a way I can host them.

How does one page quickly thru the manual. I can only turn one page at a time so takes a long time to get to a topic
not close to the front of the manual. thks, and hope this isn't too dumb of a question!

Why use on-line version when there are downlaodable pdf's around?

I'm sure you can still buy the actual paper hard copy which is MUCH more convenient and easier to use when you are actually working on the bike! Mine is nicely dog-eared and greasy finger-printed, as it should be! :) NO, printing out the PDF on inkjet paper won't last long if you actually use it... ;)

I've just two days ago made a deal for the Workshop/riders & Clymer original hard copies from a bloke in Ottawa Craigslist....should arrive presently...

First parts I got for mine back in the day were parts book, shop manual, owners book ... bike came with either a Haynes or Clymer they out in shed, I do know which ever one it is ,it has tuning chapter at the back, have used all extensively , also a few years back Hobot mailed me a printed copy of the factory service notes which has been helpful as well

If you log on to 'classicbike.biz' there are workshop manuals, parts manuals and brochures all free for various Norton and Triumph models.

When I bought my Norton new in 75 the dealer offered me a choice of either a cheap helmet or the factory workshop manual. I still have the manual.
