Still with some health and wealth enough you may have it all someday.

i do have the added benifit of my buddy helping on the 68...so it just might happen

Nice find and what a great looking Fastback project bike you have, by the distant of your rearsets it going to be a real dragstar, love the looks of the Fastbacks, the only problems with any projects is time, good luck with your find.

Very nice indeed.

I've been blessed to have a couple of those really good deals fall to me when I happened to have the appropriate stack of play money at the same time!

It's going to be someone else's turn pretty soon. I realize I MAYBE have time for 2 or 3 more projects before I can't ride any more, and I've got 6 lined up.

Yeah we are running out of time and it's hard to prioritize because I want to do them all. It's a sickness, but it's so damn fun :D

I saw the ad in local craigslist. Don't recall the lot price, but was too much for me. :(

Dave,
Yeah it was a lot, which alone, I could not possibly pull off...but lucky I have a unmarried friend. I originally called to see if they would sell just the Norton, but no..all or nothing
We do plan to sell some things to recoupe.

as each day goes by we find more and more treasures...the value of this lot vs. priced paid was more than fair..I feel ...but we shall see.

that being said, this purchase wasnt about making money! but a passion for the Old (Norton) british iron, restoring a bike and getting a storage unit full of parts back into circulation for the rest of the enthusiasts.

Wow how cool. I found a 68 fastback looking like that at a garage sale for $75,00 once around 1983. I regret having sold it. Happy hunting in all those boxes etc. please do let us know what you find.

$7500 in 1983 for a Fastback? Sounds like too much.

Do you mean $75?
