This is more Dominator specific than the other 961s.
So after a recent ride that wasn't going so well (tip over sensor etc) I decided to put a few pieces together to remove the seat if necessary. This wont replace your 476 piece Chrome Vanadium tool set that you have in your garage but it will take the seat off in a pinch and give you access to all the relays, fuses, ECU and any other thing you want to keep under there. There is really no storage on these machines so there's 2 parts to the problem. If others have found another solution please share here also. Firstly I removed those plastic screws over the tail light permanently. They don't really do much and no damage has occurred since they've been gone.

The tools
13mm Extended Hex 1/4 drive. Drilled a hole through it
Amazon product ASIN B07V6B47NC1/4" Driver. This will stay on your key. I carry a small set of keys when I ride with just the minimum on the ring.
If you tighten the nuts with this you can remove them with this. If its too tight you can use the threaded piece for leverage.

2 Rubber washers to protect the finish. The last picture shows a vacuum cap to cover the threads but its the wrong size. I'll link the correct one when I find it.

Nicely thought out and executed!
Some early Domi's wont have the access holes, or 13mm headed nuts though.
Ive road tested plenty of Domi's with no seat fixings apart from the fake oil filler up front...and they stayed put pretty well, especially when running the later stud and nuts instead of just bolts. It was easier for me to do a roadside ecu plug in during road test that way.

That's good to know Stu regarding the oil filler nut is suffice when testing. Now I may finally gather up some spare relays/fuses etc and tuck in under there

Apart from having to be a gynaecologist to get the rear tail off which I can now do blindfolded. Nothing to tell here;) When I was test fitting the new tail unit I had it on and off about 10 times in one day!!!!

I should of asked really. Just worried that my fat a@@@@ would cos it damage if it wasn’t all secured. I put an extra rubber washer in under the seat where the fake oil filler secure the front of the cowl. Speimoor sorry to hijack your post. I did try and find the bits you mentioned over here without any success. I will keep looking. Thanks
