Oil leaking from Oil Pressure Switch

Anyone else having issues with the Oil Pressure Switch leaking oil on the lefthand side of the bike? Mine's been doing this from day one and it's getting a bit frustrating because it fouls up the whole left side of the bike. Not to mention it's an expensive and modern bike...this really shouldn't be happening. Any suggestions for a remedy?

On a side note, I've finally tidied up the airbox drain tube and have that going into a fancy catch-can which has reduced the frequency with which I need to clean this bike (a real concern in California...neighbors give dirty looks).

Other fun issues are black soot on the cylinder head fins and some self-revving (doesn't matter if it's a hot day or not) which is making this a real safety concern for me.

I have not had any leakage from the oil pressure switch. I don't know your proximity to your dealer, but this is something I would take to the dealer.
I did have some soot on my cylinder head fins early on. Turned out to be loose header bolts.
This may also cause an air leak in your exhaust, which will definitely confuse your EFI/ECU, and could cause erratic engine RPM.

Thanks! I've torqued things down a bit with the headers and have cleaned up the fins so I'll be able to see roughly where the soot is originating (I hope).

I've also taken some teflon tape and gotten that cinched in at the oil pressure switch entry and am hoping that that will cinch things up a bit there. I'll run it tomorrow during my commute to see if that makes any difference.

Fingers crossed!
