Not seen this one around but yellow and ally tank, hard to miss

I don’t believe the tail and rear mud guard is aluminum. I think that’s the same as the v4 body work.

That’s what I was thinking.

He shudda done something with the airbox too though. As the only yellow on the bike it certainly stands out… and not in a good way.

Wish that Trott chap lived closer to me, I’d happily pay for an annual dose of some of that !

Oh how I yearn for an Aluminium tank.
Mine has just developed it first postule.
How long have I got left?

Dunno.

If it were mine I’d drain It FULLY, remove the pump plate and try and wipe it out / blow it out / etc and leave it somewhere warm and dry from now till spring to allow the pores in the plastic to fully dry out, then get it professionally lined, and try it out next year.

What fuel do you normally use? As discussed elsewhere, super unleaded has little or no ethanol in it (depending on brand and location etc) so using only that puts the odds a tad more in your favour too.

Esso synergy has little or no ethanol .
But beggars can’t be choosers with such a small tank.
The joys of Norton ownership.
Wouldn’t have it any other way!!

Could’nt own that obviously beautiful bike. My cleaning compunction would drive me bananaso_O!

Wonder what he used to get those exhausts so clean and stain free?

That is one shiny Norton! He's certainly made a very good job. Bright and shiny headers and cat, for 10 minutes anyway... I wonder how he did that without taking them off the the bike. That level of cleaning would take me all day
