Norton Spring Sale

Norton Spring Sale

I just seen this.
Wish I didn’t buy my Naked now and bought the Domiracer #2 lol.

And why is this page only on Facebook? Why isn’t it on their web site?

It’s not from April 1st is it ??

Never mind the Street... It appears to show a new V4SS is available.

I thought they sold out ages ago ?
People change their minds , get cold feet , decide they don't have the money after all etc.. some of the 200 will back out , its inevitable .

That’s right. The streets al sold out in October but I saw on Stuart garners twitter feedback that there was a 961 street cancelled order. This must be the one for sale. Like said, folks pay the 10% deposit, but not everyone is still in a position months on (or years on) to find another £16k, or £25k of cold hard cash.

If they changed the paint scheme to something similar to the JPN style, maybe I'd buy the V4SS.:D

That would be very cool . I can't say that I would buy it only because of the funds I have available. If the money was there I would go for it. As it stands , the Nomad is all I can spend on in the near future. I wonder when they will resurrect this paint scheme again ? it is so iconic in my view . Same thing with the JPN black with silver stripes like the rotaries. Essentially Norton have a full portfolio of iconic and historic looks they can bring back . I think it would work well for them !

What I don’t understand is the Domiracer #2 cost more than a brand new V4SS.

The Domiracer is much the same as all Dominators besides a single gauge and limited numbered production.
It shares all the same parts as a standard Dominator.

The V4SS is a totally new and limited bike with much more technology and power etc. all for less money and more value.

They’d probably have to be a tad careful and avoid the obvious cigarette link as it’s illegal to advertise cigarettes over here.

On another note,
The 2016 Naked is the lowest production Dominator offered. Yet with less than 50 made in total, Has more custom features, such as hand painted Union flag, matte finish carbon, clear coat frame, etc

it’s asking price is less then the Dominator SS, which is a 2015, has 1700 miles, versus the Naked 26 miles.

Also, the 2016 Naked custom has a asking price of $29,950 which is the same asking price as the SS.
To me, the custom is unattractive. That’s just my opinion. I don’t care for what “Goblin Works” did to the bike. I know it’s one of one but I prefer the original looks of the naked over the custom.

I paid nearly $35,000.00 USD which includes tax and shipping for my Naked.
The Domiracer and V4SS would be around $58-$60,000.00 USD. That’s A LOT

The paint scheme is what is important, not the JPN moniker.
Owners can have a JPN decal applied after purchasing the bike.:p

I think it’s plain damned ugly !!
