I was poking around the internet last night trying to see if anyone had experimented with the assembly order for the power unit and came across a Czech website that has scanned in 35+ pieces of original Norton literature. They have service manuals, parts books and riders handbooks for most if not all Commando models, but they seem to have more for the '69-'72 bikes. There is a bunch of stuff there on other models too, not to mention CZ, Jawa, and Skoda.
Most interesting thing I found was a set of factory service bulletins that cover the 'development' of the Commando once it was in production. With the benefit of hindsight it was an interesting read. The service bulletins are about half way down the left column.
