So being pretty new to owning a british classic bike i always think about things , so all the parts that Andover manufacture are all still being made as required ? I mean I'd imagine they have done some big runs of parts and they might sit in the parts bins for years NOS ,I looked up rear brake hub parts the other day and it looks as though the brake cam was made years ago . Another question has any of UK guys worked there or had a look through the workshop/factory ? There has to be a Norton owner working there ? Cheers.

My understanding is that Andover has the design information but contracts out the manufacture.
Parts which there is minimal call for may well have been in the bin for a while.

Some of the Andover Norton workers are Norton riders and I've had questions where they checked against their own bikes. They have parts manufactured - they are not old parts sitting around. When you ask for technical help with a part, you get it from the person responsible for the part in question being available.

Whether that's true of ALL their current stock I wouldn't pretend to know, but I have bought AN packaged and advertised parts from them that they do seem to be in the dark about. I would guess previous incarnations of the firm commissioned stuff no longer listed, so sometimes help isn't always available..

PS: That's simply observation, not criticism...
