Any body heard of it? Think I read about it on here

There are two UK Norton Owners Club DVDs/tapes, for twins, both presented by Mick Hemmings.

Mick covers "Heavyweight Twin Engine Restoration" in one, and "Gearbox Servicing" in the other. They're not cheap, but could save an owner money in the long run? I have both and I'd recommend them for both beginners and more experienced Norton mechanics.

Available from the NOC to members only: http://apple.clickandbuild.com/cnb/shop ... cal+Videos

Also there were two earlier NOC engine/gearbox rebuild video tapes presented by John Hudson.

Thanks

New some one would know, I am looking at starting a library for my local mates in Ont Can CVMG thanks a lot

The engine and gearbox rebuild DVDs are both available from INOA through their merchandising page, which they call the "Bracebridge Street Depot". Chuck provided the link above. You do not have to be a member to purchase the videos, but joining INOA is an excellent idea!

Joining the INOA

I concur with Debby about joining the INOA. I re-joined last week after the purchase of my Commando, I also joined the Greater Atlanta Norton Owners. You will make lifelong friends and have a wealth of info available.

And whether or not you join INOA (I did), those DVDs are great. I got them for when I eventually dive into my engine and tranny, which (knock wood) I've seen no reason to do yet. But when I do, I'll do it with a lot more confidence having had the whole process shown and explained "live" by an expert than I would based on just reading the shop and Haynes manuals.

Dunno where you're located, but buying from the UK is a good deal for us dollar-earners these days - good time to buy.
