Norton (Donington) Bike Nights dates announced

Iam planning going down this Thursday but would be ok for the 7th as well for a big turnout ,nice run for me from the Buxton area.

7th June, anyone interested? I have to get the bike back to Donington (nothing serious/urgent) so might as well kill two birds.... as they say.
I believe the 7th June bike night has been cancelled due to their attendance at the TT. B..gger another of my planned meet with you guys has been thwarted, at least I can cancel my hotel with no costs.

I will be riding across to Donington on Thurs 21st, plan to get there mid afternoon, have my warranty part swapped then stay on for the BBQ.

There was talk of an adhoc 'TT' celebration BBQ between now and 21st but nothing official yet.

My bike is there now being serviced, probably getting it back next week but have something I cannot easily get out of on the 21st. I am targeting one of three dates in August and perhaps one in september, maybe this 50th do?

must have been blighty
Yes ‘‘twas I “ but it was weekend end of August anticipating the 50th anniversary do of the commando, but as yet we don’t know when , But talking of meets , it’s july for me ,& a bar b q night in July/ August with aim to stay local

This Thursday (21st) will be combined BBQ + TT welcome home. I will be riding across in the afternoon. Not sure that I trust myself to keep away from the bar so probably won't stay for the 8pm book signing.

From the Norton factory FB page...
Post TT bike night this Thursday 21st June at the Norton Factory 6-8pm with John McGuinness and his Norton SG7, burgers, tea, coffee etc.. + bike chat. Then from 8pm onwards in the Donington Hall Library for book signing and chat with John. Will have a limited bar and all drinks £1 going 100% direct to the 'Let's Do' veterans charity, all welcome see you there. [Josh Brookes nipped back to Oz for a well earned short break

See you there, no bike though as I am bringing my main sponsor to share the experience and staying overnight.

Damn, would love to have gone this thursday, lets hope Mr McPint takes his cafe racer #1 out for a spin on another thursday night in the weeks to come instead of keeping it in the shed.
