Norton Commando development

I have never believed that a race bike makes a good road bike. But the advances in technology become added to road bikes. My interest in road racing probably fitted in well with my mindset as a scientist. I was never interested in becoming an engineer. If I had stayed in the aircraft factory, I would probably have gone in that direction. I have usually worked in conjunction with design groups. When I watched this Cycle World video about Ducati, I recognised the mindset. All engineering is based on science. I tend to think a bit differently than other people.
