New to this forum ...hello there
I have tacho issues where the Needle had a hair line crack and that is being rectified as we speak but I notice that the Tacho has a Blinker notifier in the tacho however it does not illuminate !
The turning lights work fine but can anyone advise me on a possible fix. There is one main connector in the tacho with about 6 wires in one connector block. However there appears to be one stray black wire in the tacho that is not connected anywhere. Could this be the issue....as I notice that there is another larger switch block of pins only. Does this stray wire go on one of those Pins to perhaps complete the circuit. Would be great if some one can advise me on a possible fix. Thankyou

The stray black wire should go in pin 6 of the 14 way plug of the tacho . This is the turn signal input to illuminate the indicator . This is the only wire in that 14 way plug.

You should get a copy of the Euro 4 service manual that Norton published. Send me a PM with your email and I can try to send it to you.

Welcome, Chucky. When you get a chance, we all love photos of your bike.
