I read about these guys (http://www.coloradonortonworks.com/) in the Haynes book that tells the Commando story. They have some very very nice looking mods such as the Brembo brake etc.

Has anyone bought kit from them? Is it as good as is looks?

cheers

Having owned a CNW Norton ( build 52 ) for the last 3 years and a Cafe Racer on order i can tell you
the quality and service is top drawer and you can buy with 150 % confidence.
Also another UK Biker has just had one delivered making two in the uk.

There are a few excellent builders on this site. That being said, CNW is the standard by which to judge all others.

I just ordered the CNW Mark III rear system and the front brake system. Should arrive this week minus the front disc which was back-ordered. I will post some pics of the kits when I get them.

I don't have one myself but having the chance to go to his shop and see his work up close I can say that his work is the best money can buy. I have had some of his mods. done to some parts on my bikes and the machining is top notch. I would not worry one bit if I were you. And he is also very generous with his time and works with some VERY talented people that know what they are doing, Chuck.

I don't believe you will find a break from concensus on this forum, Matt Rambow's CNW is absolutely top quality work.

While "you get what you pay for" can have negative implications, in this case, the statement is unquestionably POSITIVE.

(disclaimer: Matt was kind enough to write a short review of my book, which I appreciate. However, he got nothing for it but a signed copy)

I've bought tons of stuff from them. Asked a ton of stupid questions. They are doing some machining and polishing for me right now. Everything is top quality, and they are really nice.

Best customer service in the business too. Class act all around.

And distance isn't a problem, i have bought some bits from time to time and all arrives here downunder quickly and with good clear fitting instructions.
I'm also not the most mechanically skilled on this list and Matt has been good responding to my emailed silly questions. In fact distance has its advantage there, questions emailed in the evening NZ time have often been replied to by the morning. :D
